Answers to Common Questions About Open Arms Counseling®
What will my first appointment be like?
At the first appointment your counselor will start to get to know you and what you would like to acheive. Your counselor will talk to you about your goals and what has and hasn't worked for you in the past. Together you will put together a plan to reach your desired result.
What insurance do you take?
We take most major insurance. If your insurance is listed please contact us to make sure that we take your particular policy:
Aetna (not all Aetna plans so please call and confirm), Anthem, CareSource, Humana, Medicaid, Medical Mutual, OSU, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, and United Healthcare.
Please call before your first appointment to confirm coverage.
Is there Parking?
Yes, you can access the parking area from Willow Street and you can park in any space marked "Visitor."
What ethical standards to you follow?
Open Arms Counseling®, LLC follows the ethical standards of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board (CSWMFT Board).
Can I buy a gift card for services?
Yes, you can purchase a gift card. These cards are great for college students or anyone whose mental health you would like to support.
